way back in september during one of my visits to good ol’ manitoba a dear friend got me to try out her exercise ball. i remember thinking, “this is sweet, all i gotta do is sit here and bounce”. so upon return to alberta i drove to the nearest walmart and picked up my very own giant green exercise ball. the dvd that came with the ball reminded me a bit too much of those annoying ana caban pilates dvds that i had banished, so i discarded this one as well. left without a dvd for guidance i created my own routine… which lasted for about a week. from there i took to balancing on it while watching tv, convincing myself that at least i was sorta kinda doing it… right? from there i found that the giant green ball could double as a very nice foot rest while lounging on the couch with a bowl of popcorn. and then before i knew it, it too had been banished just like the videos. occasionally i’d see it sitting there in the corner and feel guilty so i’d bring it out and try again, which again would last only a week.
recently the dear friend from good ol’ manitoba sent me a few of her dvds to get me motivated again. on the top of the stack was “the ab assault” with a little sticky saying “this is my favorite one! p.s. don’t do this every day, you’ll be very sore”. so i hauled out the giant green ball, popped in the dvd, and shut the blinds so all the retired people walking their puppies wouldn’t be able to see me go crashing into the tv or the couch. it has happened before. first of all i have to say thank goodness gracious that the dude doesn’t annoy the crap out of me like that little miss ana cabana and her look-at-me-i-make-pilates-look-so-freakin-easy dvds. secondly, let me tell you “assault” was definitely the right term for the dvd.
so here’s to hoping that the giant green ball doesn’t get banished to the corner again.
wish me luck.

Good luck L. Really the Ab Assult is WORTH IT! Don't you feel good after you do it?!?! Keep at it :)
I would LOVE to watch the retired people walking their puppies gaze into the window of your house and see you crash into the tv! I would pay to see that actually! Mouahahahaha!
P.S. Good luck! :0D
