this weekend i shall take the next step towards getting-caught-up-with-the-rest-of-the-world. i've enlisted my knowledgeable sister to help me in this venture and i'm confident that our mission should prove to be successful. we're going camera shopping. digital camera shopping. yes, i realize that you're all gasping at the fact that i do not yet own a digital camera and am still living in the dark ages with my old school pentax (which in fact crashed and burned about two years ago). but you see, i have this "thing" where i drag my feet when it comes to purchasing new technology. the only reason i ever bought a dvd player was because i could no longer rent new movies on vhs. honestly! so as always i've done my research. i've read up on all the features of many different cameras , asked around to get people's opinion about which brand they prefer, and have tried to learn a little bit of digital camera lingo... but i still have no clue what camera i'm going to get. actually my secret plan is that i want my oh-so-camera-knowledgable-sister to say "pick this one Leanne, it'll be perfect for you", and then i'll respond "okay, it does look pretty. i'll take it"... she just doesn't know it yet.
